At Static Photography we not only shoot fashion photography (catalogs, lookbooks, editorial, runway, etc) and music photography (album art, publicity shots, live concerts, etc) but we also shoot headshots and portraits with for all sorts of people, projects, and companies.
In the last six months Static has been been a photography partnership with an awesome company called Renewal Partners that is a collection of organizations that have business models designed towards social change. The collection funds, grants, and invests in different projects that allow community sustainability, such as the renovation of the Flack building in Vancouver.
Working directly with Pamela Chaloult and Joel Solomon, two of the main faces of Renewal Partners, Kris has had the opportunity to shoot the amazing people behind such companies as Happy Planet , Pivot Legal Society , Markets Initiative , The Nimble Company , Communicopia , Horizon Distributors , Lunapads , Saltspring Coffee, Small Potato Urban Delivery and Tides Canada . Each of the portraits that we shot are coupled with a story that highlights the business, its innovative approach and its dedication to the community and sustainability.
