How could Static Photography say no when asked to participate in the first annual ReThink Hawaii conference in stunning Waikiki. Three days full of geeks on a island, discussing topics such as business, technology and sustainability made ReThink: Hawaii the perfect working vacation destination for all of the hard-working participants who attended. Kris Krüg had his camera in hand and a lei around his neck the entire week, all the while capturing the rad events of this awesome conference.
Organized by Christine Lu and Neenz Faleafine , this particular conference attracted an international crowd of attendees. Various people flew in from China, Canada, USA and England to participate in the various set of workshops that were planned. With full day sessions planned by Dave McClure , Larry Chiang , and Blogworld , to name just a few, attendees were surrounded by some of the brightest in the digital world. The conference was rounded out by a TEDxHonolulu on the fourth day which certainly is an inspiring way to end a revolutionary conference.
There was definitely a lot of sight seeing that happened in the after-hours of the conference; the beauty of Hawaii tends to make people *not* want to stay in! Day trips were planned around local sights, like the Pacific Aviation Pearl Harbor Museum and dinners were celebrated in large groups from the conference. There was even a mascot called the Rethink Bunny that stole the show a few times.
All in all, ReThink: Hawaii was amazing and Kris has the pictures to prove it! This conference went above and beyond what the organizers had hoped for so there is talk about a Rethink: Shanghai during the 2010 World Expo. Stay tuned!

GREAT to ReThinkHawaii.
GREAT to see it through your spectacles.
Hawaii has much more to offer than surf and sushi. It can be a whole new adventure in history.
The Pacific Aviation Museum is just beginning to come alive with airplanes, history and stories. Soon we'll share the history of the red & white Ford Island Control Tower, like we do the Battle of Ni'ihau with its crash site of Japanese Zero B11-120.
THANKS FOR COLLAORABTING IN HAWAII!
